Inspired by Hip Hop foundations, Katelin uses her training in Jazz, Commercial, Heels and Tap to create unique movement. She joined The Society Academy in 2021, competing with their travel team at Danchella (Cairns) and Dancers Paradise (Cancun), placing first in both. In 2024, she travelled to Amsterdam to train at the CDK Intensive Dance Camp. International artists she has learnt from include Alekz Samone, Sergio Reis, Laurence Kaiwai, Isidro Iréhi, Fetu Taku and Taneikah Wescombe.
As well as freelancing at over fifteen dance studios around Perth, Katelin has also been a guest teacher at high schools including Bob Hawke College, Kennedy Baptist College, Presbyterian Ladies’ College, Aquinas College and Applecross Senior High School. Professional performance experiences include Platinum Entertainment’s Pirates of Penzance as an ensemble dancer, opening for The Royal Family dance crew with The Society, Ronald McDonald House Charities Ball, Men in Black Ball, Perth Royal Show, Snack NYE Festival, Williams Creative Co, NAIDOC Ball and Joondalup Festival. Katelin also has credits as a dancer for Dani Enli in VEVO music videos ‘Used To It’ and ‘I Like You’.
Katelin is an active attendee of community events hosted by the street dance community, immersing herself in culture and consistently educating herself to ensure she passes on accurate knowledge, skills and experiences to her students.
