Hamish joined The Dance Collective as a Kids Club dancer in 2015. He was a member of the TDC junior crew Ti-Trix, performing at a range of community events, and was the runner-up for his age bracket in the 2017 WA Junior Breaking Championships. In 2022 he was awarded TDC’s Teen Scholarship. Hamish’s dance experience is in Hip Hop and Breaking, and he has a strong passion for a diverse range of music.

Outside of dancing Hamish is studying to be a game designer, having completed a Certificate III and IV in Game Design and Animation, he is now studying a Bachelor of Creative Media. This aspect of his life influences his teaching, enabling him to connect various art forms. Hamish wants his dancers to feel safe, comfortable, and to enjoy dance, so they can challenge themselves with new skills and experiment with new moves. Hamish’s dancing fuels his creativity, bringing him joy and connections with others.
