Due to the high demand of classes at The Dance Collective our enrolment process needs to be organised early so we can offer spaces to dancers on waiting lists and ensure the smooth running of a new term. Please take the time to ensure you read this information carefully so you don't miss out on your place in Term 2.PRIORITY RE-ENROLMENTS FOR CURRENT DANCERS
Opens this MONDAY 25 MARCH and close SATURDAY 20 APRIL. This gives our current dancers four weeks to secure their place before we open classes to the public. Current dancers' placement in their classes will carry over to Term 2. Dancers must re-enrol by making payment by the end of Term 1 (Saturday 20 April) to secure their place. If payment is not received by this priority enrolment closing date then placement will be forfeited and enrolment dropped. From MONDAY 22 APRIL classes will be open to new dancers with priority going to those who are on waitlists. If a current dancer wants to re-enrol after the priority closing date then they must use our Client Portal to select their classes. But please be advised, a place cannot be guaranteed.HOW TO RE-ENROL?
1. Click here to access the Client Login page, and use the email you have on file with us to login. Contact reception on 9314 7997 if there are any issues.
2. Check classes and make a note of your outstanding balance. Current dancers may also enrol in new classes if there are available places. If the class is full, dancers will be placed on the waitlist and contacted after Monday 22 April when a place becomes available.
3. Make payment (click here to see our Fees page for payment options)
**Pre-payment is required before commencement of class. A $30 penalty per class will be charged and dancers may be dismissed if they are found taking class without payment.
Concert pieces will begin in Term 2 so this is the time to be picking up the classes you want to perform in!

Vanessa's Farewell Workshops
After 5 fabulous years with The Dance Collective we are sad to see one of our most loved teachers leave us :(....
Vanessa is heading to Melbourne to pursuit all things creative but she wants to spend her second last night in Perth dancing with us and giving us her final classes ... for a while at least.

Term 1 Enrolments 2013
PRIORITY ENROLMENTS FOR CURRENT DANCERS
Monday 7 January - Saturday 12 January 2013
With demand for classes at The Dance Collective at an all-time high, priority goes to current dancers to enrol before classes are open to the general public. Spots in classes will be secure only once payment has been received.
As TDC aims to go paperless in 2013 dancers need to enrol online via our Client Portal. Dancers will be able to log in and manage their TDC account online. Please take the time to make sure your contact details are correct in your account.
HOW TO ENROL (opens Monday 7 January)
1. Go to our website home page www.thedancecollective.com.au and click on "Client Portal Login".
2. Create a TDC Portal Login Account by clicking "I do't have or don't know my password".
3. Enter the email address you have previously registered with TDC to email portal password.
**If you receive the message "There is no account on file with the email address you entered..." please email admin@thedancecollective.com.au or contact us on 9314 7997 as it means your email is incorrect on the system.
4. Access your email to retrieve your temporary password and return to Client Portal to login.
5. Once logged in, use drop down menu to "Change your password".
6. Check "My Account" and "My Contacts" to ensure all details are correct, if not update using drop down menu.
7. Use drop down menu to register (enrol) for Term 1 classes.
8. View Fees & Payments to check your Account Balance.
You will have 24 hours to pay your fees. If payment is not received, placement in class will be forfeited and your enrolment will be dropped.
HOW TO PAY
We are working to have a more instant online payment method in 2013, but until then we have our current ways to pay available on our Fees page.

NEW DANCER REGISTRATIONS
Open Monday 14 January 2013
After current dancers have re-enrolled, new dancers have the option to take available spaces in classes. Payment is required to secure your place. Trial classes are permitted however, we cannot guarantee there will be spaces available when classes commence Monday 4 February.
TDC aims to go paperless in 2013 and so our enrolment process has changed to an online system.
HOW TO ENROL
1. Go to our website home page www.thedancecollective.com.au and click on "New Dancer Registrations" (from Monday 14 January). 2. Fill out online registration form and enrol for classes.
3. Once enrolled, confirmation will be emailed to you.
4. You will have 24 hours to pay your fees. Enrolments are only secured by payment. If payment is not received, placement in class will be forfeited and your enrolment will be dropped.
HOW TO PAY
We are working to have a more instant online payment method in 2013, but until then we have our current ways to pay available on our Fees page.

2013 Enrolments
We are still working on the 2013 timetable and Company Information Package. Enrolment dates will be confirmed very shortly!
Current dancers will be contacted by email with information on how to enroll for 2013. We have hoped to have been sending you concert music and other important information through email this year. If you have not received any correspondence from TDC please forward your email address to admin@thedancecollective.com.au so we can update your account on our system and ensure you get future emails.
Enrolments will be open to new dancers once current dancers have been enrolled. If you would like us to add you to our 2013 Company Information mailing list, please email your name and contact details to admin@thedancecollective.com.au.

ENROLMENT FOR EXISTING DANCERS
Placement in classes will carry over to Term 4. Your place will be held until mid school holidays, Friday 5 October. Dancers must re-enrol with payment by this date to secure their place. After this date, dancers will be unenrolled from their classes and may forfeit being in the end of year show.
NEW INTERACTIVE TDC PORTAL

NEW DANCERS
• Senior (Pre Intermediate – Adults) classes have now closed for the remainder of the year as all classes are in the middle of the preparing for concert.
• Junior dancers (Pre Kidz – Juniors) can enrol Week 4, Monday 5 November after the Junior Showcase, providing there are available places. If classes are full, dancers will be placed on the wait list and contacted once a place opens up.
• Tiny Tots classes are still open to new dancers as they are not performing.

**IMPORTANT** All Saturday classes on 8 December will be cancelled (the day following our Senior Concert) therefore term payments will be adjusted accordingly.
SCHOOL HOLIDAY OPENING HOURS:
The studio will be open during the school holidays Monday to Friday between 10.00am – 3.00pm, except public holidays.

BBQ & Big Cake Bake
Saturday 8 September
TDC's "HOPE" (Helping Other People Everywhere) is holding a big fundraiser in partnership with the Australian Red Cross. Proceeds will go towards some of the most vulnerable people in our communities that the Red Cross aim to support. We will be closing off our TDC car park from 10.00 – 2.00pm to sell delicious home baked goodies (cupcakes, merigues, cookes, macaroons… the selections are endless!) along with a sausage sizzle. Come down and eat up a storm with us!

New Interactive Portal
A new online interactive portal is now available for dancers to log in and manage their TDC account online. Dancers will be able to enrol for classes, check for TDC news and updates and view their account on their own at any time. We are very excited about this new feature of our company and would love you to try using it to enrol for Term 3.
The interactive portal is part of a brand new database online program called "Jack Rabbit". The TDC Administration Team have been working hard to set it up and we are now ready to go, however please bear with us as we are still finding our feet!

Announcement: Change to Concert Dates
We are very excited to announce there will be 2 concerts this year. TDC has grown incredibly over the past few years. We have been bursting at the seams at Burswood Theatre and have now reached past their maximum capacity.
The Junior Concert will feature dancers from Pre-Kidz to Juniors. There will be a selection of senior pieces in the Junior Concert. The Senior Concert will involve all Pre- Intermediate to Adult dancers with some younger dance pieces invited to perform.

TDC has booked Cockburn Ice Skating for a private Winter Wonderland Ice Skating Party for all aged dancers!

Winter Uniform
During the colder months technique dancers (Ballet, Jazz & Contemporary) are able to wear a black fitted long sleeve top over the top of their leotards to keep warm. We are now in Term 2 and noticing the standard of appearances is dropping. To keep up professionalism, please ensure all hair is tied back and no jewelry is worn to class.

Farewell Kane Morriss
Kane Morriss, TDC's first ever Executive Assistant and past teacher is heading over to North America for a travel holiday. Recently Kane has helped to organise our fabulous 10 Year Anniversary Party and implemented our new studio management software system. Although we will miss him dearly, we wish him all the very best and can't wait to hear how his time at summer camp in the USA goes!

6.15pm Pick Up Parents & Parking
We would like to ask parents; if possible, to not "drive through" from 6.15pm to pick up your children as it creates traffic jam in the car park. Also please refrain from using the TDC parking areas during this time to wait for your children as our older dancers then cannot find a car park and have to park far away. This is unsafe as most of them finish late and still have to walk back to their cars. We have had break ins in the past and are now very mindful of their safety. There are ample car parks available at the Community Centre, Library and Primary School you are welcome to use. We would very much appreciate your consideration for our dancers, thank you so much for your cooperation.
Champions Tour Workshops
The Champions Tour is a brand-new and unique dance production featuring some of the biggest and most successful hiphop dance groups from around the globe. The com...mon theme: every dance group is a champion. Three world champions and one Asian champion. Allstars (Philippines), ReQuest Crew (New Zealand), Go Go Brothers (Japan) and Elecoldxhot (Malaysia).
They will be supported by Australian dance champions from World Supremacy Battlegrounds and Groove in what will be the most highly-anticipated dance tour of its kind.
