TDC dancers performed with The Veronicas as part of their Hook Me Up Tour!! Charisse was contacted to choreograph and Jenny Eastman, Emily Fiori, Sally Geach, Safiya Karolia, Mayshan Kelishadi, and Sarah Reed performed for two numbers with The Veronicas. It was an amazing experience and Jess and Lisa were the nicest people to work with. We made friends with their support band Calerway, met Nathan from Video Hits and were given signed photos with us and The Veronicas and flowers as thank you gifts. It was two unbelievable nights we'll never forget.

Legendary
hip-hop choreographer Rennie Harris from Philidelphia, USA, was
welcomed at The Dance Collective on Thursday 1 June. Giving
an inspiring
workshop, Rennie educated us on the various techniques of B-Boy,
house
dancing, stepping and other styles that have emerged spontanousely
from
the urban, inner cities of America.
We all left the class with
a greater
understanding of the origins of hip-hop and the amazement we had
just
danced with its leading ambassador. Go to www.rhpm.org to
find out more
information on Rennie Harris.
